Kindergarten Academy
August 17-21 (Tentative Dates - Check for Updates)
Session 1 8:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Session 2 12:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Every parent wants their child's first day, week, and year of Kindergarten to be a successful one. The Kalmiopsis School would like to offer your child the opportunity to gain confidence and to "get a great start" with out Kindergarten Academy. During this week, your child will review:
- Social skills
- Fine motor skills
- Reading readiness
- Math activities
- Science/Art
Each room will have a certified teacher and assistant with no more than 10 students per class. Drop off and pick up will be at the Kalmiopsis School Office. There will not be any transportation available during the week.
Daily schedule:
- Breakfast or lunch
- Welcome/Daily Routine
- Recess/PE game
- Reading readiness
- Social skills/Station rotations
- Storytime/Snack
- Math centers
- Art/Craft/Science
- Clean up/Goodbye
- Parent pick-up at Kalmiopsis Office
