As of 9/21/2020:
Oregon Health Authority virus metrics for the week of Sept. 13, 2020
Dashboard view of metrics provided by Willamette ESD:
- The state was at 6.2% test positivity
- The state was at 34.8/100,000 active cases
- Curry County was at 2.5% test positivity
- Curry County was at 4.3/100,000 active cases (actual: 1 active case in a population of about 23,000)
Curry met the 10/100,000 limit for active cases for the week of Sept. 13, 2020, and maintained the needed test positivity rate of less than 5 percent. Unfortunately, statewide, the needed test positivity rate of less than 5 percent was not achieved. As a result, no progress was made toward the standard required by the state to start grades 4 and 5 in-person.
At this point, the soonest addition of in-person classes is Friday, Oct. 16, if the next 3 weeks of metrics are met.
